Does anyone feel that they are addicted to their anti depressants/anxiety medication?

If I forget to take my Seroquel I feel worse and I feel like the world is going to end. Does anyone else feel this way about their medication?

Most medication like this are addicting. You will go through withdrawal if you miss too many. So the best bet is not to miss any. GOOD LUCK

When that happens, you are experiencing withdrawl symptoms from not taking your medication. If you were to ever go off them for good, you would need to back down a little at a time so your body adjusts to the change gradually.

Its not really addiction its just taking what you need to take to balance the serotonin out in your brain.

    Hi
Of course those drugs will make you feel addicted! They are created to make you feel like this.

Unless your case is really serious and you have your doctor’s advice to do so, do not take any drugs!

Modern medicine is an industry created to make money, not to help people finding the best cure for their health.

Particularly if it comes up to stress and all of its subsequent forms such as anxiety and depression, which are mainly due to the cumulative effect of events from our daily round.

The drugs will not help you overcome the reason for feeling stressed, depressed or anxious. They will just ease the effects until tomorrow, when the first horn will drive you crazy and again you will need the magic pill.

Unfortunately the real magic pill that gives you stress relief in the long run does not exist.

It looks like I know something about managing stress you don’t know, doesn’t it? Yes, I know that the secret to overcome those strange states of human mind is to look at the ways you behave on a daily basis.
