Is Buspar any good at treating social anxiety or anxiety in general?

Buspar was created for general anxiety. I worked for the company that made it, but I haven’t taken it.

You might want to look into some over-the-counter medications such as GABA and L-Theanine.

Buspar didn’t work for my ex-husband’s anxiety at all.

I take Paxil for anxiety and depression- have for years- and it works very well for me.

I"ve been on buspar for about two years now and it works very well for me, but didn’t work for my daughter. I think that it depends a lot on what medications work with your body and brain chemistry. It might also depend on what other medications that you’re taking. My doctor always decides what I’m going to be given based on what’s worked and what else I’m taking. I really think that you can’t base your bodies reaction and how different medication on how they work for other people. Penicillin works for most people but it can kill me. So each person is different.
